315 people died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus in Italy and England

The number of coronavirus cases and deaths occurred in the last 24 hours in Italy and England, one of the European countries that occurred in Wuhan city of China and affected the whole world in a short time. According to this; The number of people who lost their lives in Kovid-19 in Italy increased by 145 in the last 24 hours to 31 thousand 908. In England, the number of people who died due to coronavirus increased by 170 in the last 24 hours to 34.636.


According to the information given by Economy Minister Alok Sharma at the daily press conference, the number of people who died in the country in the last 24 hours due to Kovid-19 increased by 170, to 34,636.

While the total number of tests increased to 2 million 580 thousand 769 with 91 thousand 206 in the last day in the country, the total number of cases increased to 243 thousand 303 with 3 thousand 142 new cases.

Minister Sharma noted that the number of cases today does not include Northern Ireland, which could not collect data due to a technical problem.


Sharma also informed that Oxford University has reached a global license agreement with the company AstraZeneca for the Kovid-19 vaccine, accordingly, if the university’s vaccine study is successful, 30 million doses of vaccine will be produced by September.

Stating that Britain will be given priority in vaccine distribution, Sharma stressed that developing countries will strive to deliver the vaccine at the lowest possible cost.

Oxford University hosts one of the world’s leading studies in the field of vaccine development against Kovid-19.

The Kovid-19 vaccine, which was developed at the university, was started to be tested on human beings last month, and it was announced that the result would become evident in June. It was reported that if the vaccine was successful, it could begin to be produced from September.


On the other hand, the British government announced that it has accelerated the establishment of the Vaccine Production and Innovation Center, which is planned to be completed in the summer of 2022, and attracted it to the summer of 2021.

The government increased its support up to £ 93 million to ensure that the center, under construction in Oxford, was opened a year earlier than planned.

It is reported that if the new center becomes operational, it is capable of producing the vaccine sufficient for the entire UK population within 6 months.

The British government also announced that with a support of £ 38 million, a rapid production facility will be established to start production this summer.
