Bloomberg: In the USA, citizens cannot buy meat; customer change of organic meat products

Bloomberg stated that the meat sales of markets in the USA have almost stopped. On the other hand, it turned out that the opposite of the situation in the markets preferred by high-income people for shopping.

Bloomberg pointed out that the coronavirus epidemic reveals socio-economic inequality in the USA and affects low-income people more.

The fact that the workers were sick in the meat production factories and the consumers faced with unemployment and loss of income caused people to start removing meat from their kitchens. Meat prices have been rising in the US since the beginning of April.

On the other hand, the effect of the epidemic on the high quality meat sector was not the same as mass production. The fact that farm animals were grown in boutique pastures and small factories or butcher shops for meat management affected the production of the industry less than mass production.

The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention has announced that thousands of meat industry employees are infected with Covid-19. According to the center, the most important factor in the spread of the infection is the difficulties that those working in this field have to avoid.
