The 31-year-old Azarenka, who could not reach the cup despite having made it to the finals twice before at the US Open, made her name in the semi-finals with this win.

Thiem becomes the first Austrian
In men’s singles, 2nd-seed Dominic Thiem defeated 21-seeded Australian Alex de Minaur 3-0 after sets 6-1, 6-2 and 6-4.

Thiem made history as the first Austrian tennis player to reach the semi-finals at the US Open.

3rd seeded Russian Daniil Medvedev defeated 10 seed Andrey Rublev 7-6, 6-3 and 7-6 3-0 and became the opponent of Dominic Thiem in the semifinals.

The schedule of the 11th day of the US Open has been announced

On the 11th day of the US Open, two semi-final matches will be played in single women.

3rd seed Serena Williams of the USA and Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, aiming for the 24th grand slam title of her career, will be on the court.

4th seeded Japanese Naomi Osaka, who won the championship in 2018 in the tournament, will seek a final visa against the 28 seeded USA’s Jennifer Brady.
