Famous TIME magazine, which is among the most prestigious magazines of the world, started a survey to choose “Person of the Year” as it does every year. While those working at the front line in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic were nominated, the most striking name on the list was President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Last year, climate activist Greta Thunberg was declared “Person of the Year” in the selection held among the most prominent names of that year since 1927.
