Turkish Red Crescent distributes 2,000 food parcels in Yemen

Turkish Red Crescent Yemeni Delegation President Mustafa Aydin, in his statement to AA correspondent, said that 2 thousand food parcels were distributed to domestic immigrants and poor families in Marib as part of the campaign targeting the distribution of 5,000 food parcels to different provinces of Yemen.

Aydın stated that the aid campaign is aimed at alleviating the problems of families suffering from war in Yemen in Ramadan.

In addition to the Turkish Red Crescent, the distribution process attended by officials from the Yemen-based İsticabe Humanitarian Aid Association was held at the El-Misak Primary School in Marib.

A thousand food parcels were distributed in Marib on Thursday. During the Ramadan, Turkish Red Crescent launched 3 separate aid campaigns in Yemen, consisting of 9 thousand, 5 thousand and 500 food boxes.
